Pastel Dreams

I've been obsessed with these colours for at least the last five years. I don't know why or where it comes from. It started after I quit a job, sold all my things and got to start fresh. I've always had colour obsessions ever since I was a kid. In grade 5 I used to dress top to toe in orange >>> socks, undies, hair clips, you name it, SOLID ORANGE. And then it was pink. I was a child of the 70s and grew up with a bright eye popping colour. My bedroom walls were tennis ball green and colour deliniated my life. Green cup for me, brown cup for my brother. I love the spark of colour, the joy it brings to your eyeballs. I love this painting with it's fluroscent sparkly dust. I love composing images, but with watercolour it adds such an element of randomness.
