Squishy Figgy

Look at that squishy figgy. So delicious and devine. My backgarden is full of old gnarled trees that produce bucket loads of them. Enough to feed me, friends, possums, the rainbow lorikeets and the fruit bats. I love looking at the details of things. It's like an infinity of details in this one tiny thing in the world. I used to work in a Permaculture publishing office, which was surrounded by a vast food production garden. My boss used to leave us an assortment of freshly picked fruit on our desks to snack on. In fig season, I used to find my figs were often devoured by my co-worker when I wasn't looking. Such a squishy figgy piggy she was.
